Shipment visibility

Real-time cargo tracking, China to the USA

You should never have to email someone to find out where your container is. Every milestone reaches you as it happens — and when you do have a question, a real person already knows your file.

Overview

Visibility is only useful if it arrives before you ask

Plenty of forwarders offer a tracking portal. Far fewer will tell you that a vessel has been delayed before you notice it yourself, or explain what a two-day slip actually means for your delivery date and your inventory plan.

We push updates rather than storing them. When your booking is confirmed, when the container is loaded and sealed, when the vessel sails, when it arrives, when customs releases it and when it goes out for delivery — you are told. If a schedule changes, you hear it from us with the revised timeline and the plan attached.

Behind the automated milestones sits a named coordinator who knows your shipment. That combination — data you don’t have to fetch, plus someone who can interpret it — is what visibility is actually for.

Questions

Cargo Tracking FAQ

By email or WhatsApp, whichever you prefer — most clients choose WhatsApp for speed. Updates are sent at six key milestones and any time an exception occurs. You can also just message your coordinator and get a direct answer.

You hear it from us first, along with a revised timeline and the options available. Delays can come from vessel schedules, port congestion, customs holds or terminal appointment availability. We tell you which one it is, what it means for your delivery date, and what — if anything — can be done to recover time.

Yes. Every booking comes with a container number and a bill of lading number that can be checked directly on the carrier’s own tracking system. We send both as soon as they are issued, and your coordinator can always give you a fuller picture than the carrier’s status line.

A rollover is when a carrier bumps a booked container to a later sailing, usually because the vessel is overbooked. It is the most common cause of unexpected delay on the transpacific lane. We book directly with carriers to reduce the risk, and if a rollover happens we tell you immediately with the new sailing and revised arrival date.
